Here's your chance to share your favorite study abroad experiences through the 13th annual Spartans Abroad Photo Contest!

As an MSU study abroad participant you may enter up to two photos taken during your study broad program in the Spartans Abroad Photo Contest.

Winning entries will be selected based on the best quality photographs that are clearly identifiable as a location outside of the United States. Photos should capture images of students interacting with local populations and/or portray the esence of the entrant's study abroad experience. While landscape shots may be beautiful, we're really looking for photos that tell us about your study abroad experience.

Your photos will be evaluated by a team of judges from across campus (OSA staff do not judge photos) and may be selected among hundreds of inspiring photos to win a top prize in the contest. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners , as well as Honorable Mention awards in each region of the world (Africa, Americas, Antarctica/Artic, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Oceania). Prizes and their sponsors can be found here.

Winning photographs will be displayed at Study Abroad Fairs, included in future OSa publications, and showcased on the OSA Web site. All photos submitted (winners and non-winners) may be used in varuous marketing activities for the purpose of promoting study abroad at Michigan State University.

The deadline for the 2009 contest was November 2, 2009.
